Joe and Bethany are an adorable couple. I love that they laugh together. Here are some sneak peeks from their Bride & Groom Portraits (more to come from their special day!)…
Congratulations & Best Wishes to Mr. & Mrs. Elvecrog! ❤
The family that cheers together, stays together. SKOL, Vikings!
Of course I said yes when my sister asked me to bring my camera to her baby shower. We took a few family photos and of course a few photos of the mama-to-be. The very bottom photo in black & white is my favorite from the session. Can’t wait to meet my little niece/nephew in a few weeks! ❤

Here are some sneak peeks from a family portrait session I took at a local park. It’s that time of year–time to order your holiday cards! If you’re looking for a great place to get yours printed, you can use this link to TinyPrints for 10 free cards! As always, if you like what you see, book a session with me!
I don’t think I’ve found myself laughing and smiling through a session as much as I did with the Hoovers. They are such a sweet family and I love that they want their pets included in their family photos. I am always up for that challenge. What better setting than with a gorgeous vintage John Deere?! “It’s been SO LONG since we’ve taken family photos professionally.” I hear this alllll the time, so it is always such a joy to capture family portraits. You can’t see me, but I unintentionally had joined in on the plaid love. I love the way these turned out. Enjoy!

Pam reached out to me to see if I could come out for a quick family photo session. The temps had recently dropped but we finally got our snow before Christmas! They had some family visiting from warm Texas, so we worked as quickly as we could, taking a few breaks to warm up. Everyone did such a great job of “pretending not to be cold,” as I jokingly encouraged them to. It’s tough to pretend you’re not cold!!
It’s always fun working with Pam and her family–you may recognize them from a few sessions we’ve done in the past! Always a huge compliment to be asked to come back for more photos! I love the shipping crate we used as a prop and the shipping container we used as a backdrop–really fun texture! Here are a few sneak peeks from their session:
Living out in the middle of nowhere can sometimes be a little frustrating. But easily the majority of the time I love it out here. Except when I’m trying to upload photos to my blog and our s-l-o-w internet connection just isn’t having it. It took much longer than it should have to upload the last several posts. Still in that same boat, but had to update! Below are the final set of sneak peeks from the beautiful autumn afternoon spent with Kim and her family. Now that it’s so cold, it’s kind of nice to reminisce about warmer days…
